From Hot dogs to Turkey legs to Lobster rolls your choices for quick service dining at Walt Disney World are endless! What is even better is quick service on the Disney Dining Plan! For each meal you get to pick entree, dessert and drink plus a snack! One of my favorite quick service treasures is The Columbia Harbour House in the Magic Kingdom. Most people assume quick service is going to be chicken fingers or burgers not at the Columbia Harbour House! There are so many options that include the Anchors Aweigh Sandwich, which is a delicious white tuna sandwich on a multi-grain bread. Other options include the ever popular Lighthouse sandwich, Hummus with tomato-broccoli slaw that is served with chips, which is an amazing vegetarian option! They also have the standard chicken nuggets and fish basket! Some good options for dinner are always the Grilled Salmon in a white balsamic vinegar which is served with couscous and steamed broccoli. They also have fried shrimp, fish and shrimp combo and the ever famous Lobster Roll! For the little ones you can choose chicken or macaroni and cheese with sides! I would also suggest the the Apple Crisp or Chocolate cake for dessert! Be sure to walk around the restaurant before you leave, there are many neat nick-knacks and history! If the Columbia Harbor House doesn’t fit your fancy you can head over Fantasyland and head right into Pinocchio Village Haus! With options from Pizza to Sandwiches this is an easy crowd pleaser! I highly recommend the meatball sub which is served with apple slices or french fries. The chicken parmesan which is served with pasta is a good portion and easy to share! The pizzas and flatbreads are good and a kid favorite! Milk shakes are a sure win here! So settle down and enjoy your meal and watch all the construction on all the magic that is unfolding in Fantasyland! There are not only great options at Magic Kingdom but each park has its own treasures! If you are at Epcot you can choose from so many different countries from nachos and burritos at La Cantina De San Angel to lamb and couscous salad at Tangerine Cafe in Morocco and if you’re not up for the adventure you are always safe in America or the Electric Umbrella at the entrance! While at Hollywood Studios, I recommend the ABC Commissary. They have a great chicken bleu sandwich and burgers, or the Backlot express which has amazing Angus onion straws! Animal Kingdom has world famous barbecue at the Flame Tree Barbeque and if you don’t have time to enjoy a sit down meal at the Yeti and The Yak there is a quick service version right outside at the Yak&Yeti Local Foods Cafe. Grab your food and sneak down to one of the tables that face the tree of life for an amazing view and peace and quiet! As you can see Disney Dining options are everywhere and always an easy way to stay on budget! No matter where you choose enjoy all the different dining options Disney has to offer! Happy Eating!
